Shipping Information
What is “Flat Rate” shipping? Unfortunately, the cost of fuel, packaging materials, and postage are all going up, which causes shipping costs to rise. Shipping is a real problem for small specialty online retailers like us. Recently, we analyzed our average shipping costs and discovered that most of our customers (Continental US only) could save substantially if we went with flat rate shipping.
What is not included in Flat Rate shipping?
Cards which can be shipped more cost-effectively using a “per item” shipping rate
Furniture and heavy products; it is simply not cost effective to ship at the flat rate
Collectible Dolls and products that require special handling and/or insurance
Most of our stock is eligible for flat rate shipping and we hope you enjoy the savings. As we grow, we will be able to negotiate a lower flat rate deal that will enable us to save you even more.
Do you live in DE, NY, NJ, CT or PA? If so, we are nearby in NJ. Sometimes it is more cost effective for us to ship your package via USPS Priority Mail. So, if you live in one of those states, save a few bucks and skip the extra charge for Priority unless you absolutely need us to rush your package out the door.
Do you ship outside the US? Yes. Currently we ship to 47 countries. Canada and UK rates are pre-programmed. If you are shipping elsewhere, please contact us for shipping rates to your destination. We ship via the US Postal Service. Shipments outside the US are processed manually and require extra time to process. We are NOT responsible for Customs or Brokerage Fees and Taxes, and we cannot mark shipments as low value. PLEASE NOTE: Customs can delay packages for up to 3 weeks. Please wait 21 days after receipt of the "Your Order Is On the Way" notice before contacting us about missing orders. To place an international order, call 908-273-8203 (International Orders ONLY).
Who will deliver my order? We use the USPS for parcel post, small Priority, and international shipments and DHL-ground for large packages, long-distance orders, and larger priority shipments.
How will my order arrive? If you ordered several items to be delivered to the same address, we may send them to you in separate boxes to give you the speediest service. Rest assured, this will not affect your shipping charges.
Will my items be shipped together? As some items are shipped directly from the manufacturer or from more than one DollsLikeMe.com warehouse, the items in your purchase may be shipped separately.
